McMillin Homes Christmas Decorations Contest Details

We're asking all McMillin homeowners in the San Antonio area to show off their Christmas spirit on the new McMillin Facebook Page. There are no detailed directions here, just a simple request: Visit this page (which will lead you to our home on Facebook), become a fan, upload a picture of your home's Christmas decorations, and vote on your favorites. A winner will be chosen for each McMillin neighborhood, and those will square off to see who will be called the best-decorated McMillin home in San Antonio!

To celebrate the season, we'll also give away six $75 Lowe's gift cards and one $200 Lowe's gift card to lucky McMillin homeowners to help with last-minute shopping. You don't have to upload a photo to win, but we'd love to have you join us online and participate in the fun. Gift card recipients will be chosen December 21, but you can start displaying your best Christmas trimmings today.

Official Contest Rules

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Some restrictions apply. One qualifier per household. You need not be present to win.

Eligibility: All McMillin San Antonio homeowners are eligible for the contest. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for McMillin Homes or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months in one calendar year.

How to win: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted from all qualified entries on or about December 21, 2009. In the event that the original Grand Prize winner does not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she or parent or legal guardian forfeits the Grand Prize, McMillin Homes will award prize to first alternate. Process will continue until Grand Prize is awarded. Decision of McMillin Homes is final. The grand Prize winner will be notified by phone and/or mail and must meet all eligibility requirements. McMillin Homes and its promotional agents are not responsible for illegible, lost, delayed or misdirected mail, errors in faxes or shipments, busy phone signals, or incomplete entries.

Grand Prize: (One) Grand Prize winner will receive a gift card from Lowe's Home Improvement in the amount of $200. (Six) other winners will each receive a gift card from Lowe's Home Improvement in the amount of $75.

The Grand Prize is non-transferable. There may be no cash or other substitutions of prizes by winner. However, McMillin Homes reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent or legal guardian of winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to entire prize.

Winner or Parent or legal guardian of Grand Prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification Form ("the Form") that : a) releases, indemnifyies and holds harmless McMillin Homes, its parent, affiliated, subsidiary and successor companies, and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, advertising agencies and promotional sponsors (collectively the "Release") from and against any and all harm, expense, liability or injury that may be sustained relating to or arising from participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize; and b) authorizes the Releasee to use the winners' names, likenesses, photographs, voices and biographical data for any purpose, in any media, unless prohibited by law.

Prize will not be released until McMillin Homes receives all required documents. Failure of Grand Prize winner to return the Forms within the required timeframe will result in automatic forfeiture of any prizes and all such prizes shall be awarded to an alternate winner. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the winner or parent or legal guardian of the winner forfeiting prize will sign a Prize Forfeit Form and return to McMillin Homes within ten (10) days of receiving the Form.

Unforeseen Events: McMillin Homes reserves the right to change this sweepstakes at its sole discretion at any time that McMillin Homes become aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the sweepstakes security or fairness. McMillin Homes reserves the right to announce any sweepstakes rules changes over the air, in print or posters. McMillin Homes is not responsible for the inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason.
